Chang (Corporal)edit

From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference

Corporal Chang

Corporal Chang was a member of the MACO force assigned to Enterprise between 2153 and 2154.

He ate lunch in the mess hall with Major Hayes, Sergeant Kemper, and Corporal Romero every day. He was one of the volunteers for the mission to rescue Jonathan Archer, Charles Tucker, and Kessick from the trellium mine. (ENT: "The Xindi")

The same year he was part of the second away team which beamed down to the Loque'eque homeworld to find the first away team, including Captain Archer, T'Pol, Hoshi Sato, and Malcolm Reed. Chang and his team members Charles Tucker and Palmer were attacked by the officers who suffered from an ancient virus which transferred them into primal-like creatures.

While Enterprise had to deal with an alien ship, Chang accompanied Commander Tucker on a second away mission and was able to save the transferred Enterprise crewmembers from the Decon agents. (ENT: "Extinction")

In 2154 Chang and MACO R. Ryan guarded the Xindi-Insectoid ship, which crashed onto a planet in the Delphic Expanse, and refused T'Pol the entrance to the "birth chamber", where Captain Archer tried to breed the Xindi-Insectoids. T'Pol managed to get into the room and was set under arrest on board Enterprise. Chang served as guard while T'Pol was in her quarters but was later made unconscious by Doctor Phlox, when the senior staff tried to return control over Enterprise from the MACOs who were under direct order of Captain Archer. (ENT: "Hatchery")
