David Tipton is a comic book writer. His first writing credit was with his brother Scott on the Klingons: Blood Will Tell mini-series. The two have also contributed several entries in the Star Trek: Alien Spotlight series, as well as the mini-series Intelligence Gathering, Star Trek: Mirror Images, and Spock: Reflections.
When asked how he and his brother divide writing duties, they responded by saying "Scott writes the nouns and David writes the verbs, and for everything else they flip a coin." (Intelligence Gathering: "Valued Intelligence")
