David Tipton is a comic book writer. His only writing credits to date are with his brother Scott on the Klingons: Blood Will Tell mini-series. The two are the authors of an issue in the Star Trek: Alien Spotlight series and the mini-series Intelligence Gathering, both of which feature David Messina as the artist.
Like his brother, David is a historian, but of the real world, having studied ancient and medieval history. When asked how he and his brother divide writing duties, they responded by saying "Scott writes the nouns and David writes the verbs, and for everything else they flip a coin."
