David Tipton is a comic book writer. His first writing credit was with his brother Scott on the Klingons: Blood Will Tell mini-series. The two have also contributed several entries in the Star Trek: Alien Spotlight series, as well as the mini-series Intelligence Gathering, Star Trek: Mirror Images, and Spock: Reflections.
Like his brother, David is a historian, but of the real world, having studied ancient and medieval history. When asked how he and his brother divide writing duties, they responded by saying "Scott writes the nouns and David writes the verbs, and for everything else they flip a coin."
