James Harper (born 8 October 1948; age 61) portrayed Rao Vantika in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Passenger".
He appeared in motion pictures as varied as Armageddon, Down Periscope and Firstborn.
Other television guest appearances include Tour of Duty, Quantum Leap and Frasier.
