Jane Espenson wrote the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season four episode "Accession". She later went on to be a writer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and the short-lived Firefly.
Espenson recently wrote "The Passage" and "Dirty Hands", both third season episodes of Ronald D. Moore's Battlestar Galactica. She also was a co-executive producer for the fourth season and the spinoff DVD film Battlestar Galactica: Razor, which will focus on the Pegasus, commanded by Helena Cain (Michelle Forbes), prior to it encountering the Galactica.
Espenson recently served as consulting producer on Joss Whedon's fantasy series Dollhouse (2009) and wrote the first season episode Briar Rose (2009).
