Although the Excelsior-class ship seen in "Chrysalis" was not specifically mentioned to be the Farragut, it can be inferred as such through the script, which makes note of a docked starship before cutting to the scene that refers to the Farragut having just docked. This inference is also confirmed by the Star Trek Encyclopedia, which also states that the Excelsior-class ship was the Farragut.
