USS Nobeledit
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference
The USS Nobel (NCC-55012) was a starship that served in the Dominion War in 2374.
Among its personnel were Rick Bittle, who was killed in action, and Margaret Clark and Mitchell Green, both missing in action. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight", "Image in the Sand", "The Siege of AR-558", "What You Leave Behind")
- Named after Alfred Nobel, a Swedish scientist of the 19th century who invented dynamite and initiated the famous Nobel Prize. This ship's name and registry were only barely visible on screen, listed on the wardroom set and PADD prop casualty report used in filming the above episodes. This graphic was pictured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion.
- According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, the USS Nobel was Olympic-class, and was identified as being the same ship as the USS Noble mentioned in TNG: "Interface".
