Absolute Entertainment was a video game company that produced games for a variety of platforms. They were founded in 1986 by some programmers that left Activision. In 1995 the company disbanded and their assets were acquired by Activision.

They are credited with producing two Star Trek video games, the first in 1993, Star Trek: The Next Generation for the NES, and Star Trek Generations: Beyond the Nexus in 1994 based on Star Trek Generations for various handhelds including the Nintendo GameBoy and Sega Game Gear.
