The acting captain's log is a version of the captain's log used by the acting captain of a starship. (VOY: "Resolutions")
On some occassions, the person acting as captain also kept an acting captain's personal log. (VOY: "Nightingale")
It was originally referred to as an acting captain's starlog in the 22nd century. (ENT: "Hatchery")
