Akemi Royer is the actress who portrayed a med tech in the two Star Trek: Voyager episodes "Workforce" and "Workforce, Part II".
Prior to her Star Trek appearance, Royer had supporting roles in the comedy Hang Your Dog in the Wind (1997, with Keythe Farley) and the television series Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (1998, along Michael Ensign) and Malibu, CA (1998, with Dennis Cockrum and Time Winters).
In 2001 she portrayed Jackie in the science fiction comedy That Darn Punk. More recently she appeared in the comedy Cake Boy (2005).
