Alan Bernard (Starfleet)

Alan Bernard was a research and development officer who worked on the USS Prometheus. (VOY: "Message in a Bottle" set artwork)
Bernard's name was listed on the dedication plaque of the Prometheus. He was named for TNG and VOY sound mixer Alan Bernard.
