Alan M. Kobayashi is a graphic designer. Besides his Star Trek contributions, his credits include X-Files (Season 8 & 9) and Babylon 5 (Seasons 3, 4 and 5).
The first work he did as a scenic artist on Enterprise was the various sign in the town of "Carbon Creek", from the episode, "Carbon Creek". Other pieces he is particularly fond of include the astrometric chart seen in Travis Mayweather's old room on the Horizon in the episode "Horizon".
