Commander William T. Riker used Queen's Gambit coupled with Aldabren exchange to defeat the Ferengi Nibor at chess. The game occurred during the closing reception of the biennial Trade Agreements Conference aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Ménage à Troi")
