Algorian mammoth was a large animal.

After Elim Garak told Doctor Bashir, he administered to himself a dosage of thirty cc's of triptacederine, the alarmed doctor told him that that was enough to anesthetize an Algorian mammoth. Garak noted that he could barely feel it, and suggested that "Cardassians must be made of sterner stuff." (DS9: "The Wire")
