Andy Lanning is a British comic book author and artist. He began in the industry in the mid-1980s at Marvel Comics' UK office. By the time the 1990s rolled around, he had begun writing in collaboration with Dan Abnett, a pairing that would later produce "Elite Force" for WildStorm Comics. Prior to that, he worked on the Starfleet Academy comic for Marvel Comics, inking all of the issues that Chris Renaud penciled.
