Angel hair pasta is a food originating from Earth. The pasta is in the form of long strands that are very thin (hence the term "angel hair").
In 2153, Hoshi Sato brought a plate of angel hair pasta to sickbay for Doctor Phlox, who had been infected with Borg nanoprobes. Phlox refused the meal since eating would accelerate his metabolism, causing the nanoprobes to spread further. Sato left the dish in sickbay in case Phlox changed his mind. (ENT: "Regeneration")
- The proper name for angel hair pasta is Capellini, which literally means "thin hair."
