Antares (star)

Antares (or Alpha Scorpii or Kalb al Acrab or Vespertilio) is a binary star, the primary of the Antares system, located 604 light years from Sol.
The star was mentioned as a distant location, "somewhere, beyond the stars", in the song Beyond Antares . (TOS: "The Conscience of the King")
