The antimatter relay is a component of the Enterprise's warp drive lined with a platinum-cobalt alloy. Commander Charles Tucker and five of his men had to strip over two hundred relays to obtain a half-liter of platinum to pay a trellium mine overseer with for the privilege of visiting Kessick.
