Archer system

The Archer system was a star system located around 61 Ursae Majoris some 31 light years from Earth. This system was the first fully explored by the Earth starship Enterprise NX-01 during its mission of exploration. (ENT: "Strange New World") The system was named for the vessel's captain, Jonathan Archer, and contains at least four planets. (ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II")

The Star Trek: Star Charts incorrectly states the planet circling 61 Ursae Majoris, later explored in "Strange New World", to be Loracus Prime, which actually is a misinterpretation, as the planet's name is not revealed until Enterprise's fourth season. As a consequence, the star "Archer", which the planet called Archer IV supposedly orbits, is placed near Klingon territory several hundred light years away from Sol according to the Star Charts.
