Ashley Judd (born 19 April 1968; age 41) is the actress who played Ensign Robin Lefler in two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation: "Darmok" and "The Game". Judd was born in Granada Hills, California; she is the daughter of legendary country music singer Naomi Judd, and half-sister of Wynonna Judd.
Star Trek provided the medium for her first on-screen kiss.
Since her appearance on The Next Generation, Judd has become a major star in feature films. Her starring credits include the films De-Lovely, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, High Crimes, Where the Heart Is, Double Jeopardy (with Bruce Greenwood) and Kiss the Girls.
She is married to race car driver Dario Franchitti.
