Corporal B. Scott
Corporal B. Scott

In the mirror universe, Corporal B. Scott was a MACO assigned to the ISS Enterprise (NX-01) in 2155. B. Scott was one of several Enterprise crew members that left the starship in escape pods when the craft was trapped by Tholian vessels in an energy field and destroyed. The life pods and their occupants, including B. Scott, were later retrieved by the USS Defiant, under orders from Commander Jonathan Archer, an officer who had led an assault team there from Enterprise.

Later, B. Scott helped Captain Archer to search the Defiant for Slar, a member of the reptilian Gorn species. B. Scott was killed by the creature when he tried to defend the captain from an attack in a corridor of the Constitution-class ship's primary hull. (ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly, Part II")

Scott may have simply been injured by the Gorn, although the creature's attack seemed extreme.

[edit] Background

Corporal Scott was played by uncredited stunt actor Michael Hugghins.

B. Scott's first name was never revealed in episode sources. It is unknown whether B. Scott existed in our universe and, if so, what his or her first name was. It is possible that "B. Scott" is a nod to Scott Bakula who played Jonathan Archer on Star Trek: Enterprise. The Star Trek Customizable Card Game gives his full name as Brennan Scott.
