Bar'el was a Klingon child living on the outpost on Maranga IV in 2370.

When Alexander visited the outpost during the Kot'baval Festival, he got to know Bar'el and his friend K'Nor. Together they watched firedancers and were offered to see the head of Molor in a box for fifty darseks. (TNG: "Firstborn")
