Bela Tyken

Bela Tyken was a Melthusian captain.

When his ship was trapped in a rare kind of anomaly never encountered before, he used anicium and yurium from his cargo to create a massive explosion, so his ship was able to break free. This kind of anomaly would later be named Tyken's Rift to his honor. (TNG: "Night Terrors")
