Beloti sector

The Beloti sector is a region of space near the Federation-Cardassian border, containing the Mericor system. The area was the site of fighting during the war between the two powers in the 2350s, and several still-armed gravitic mines were left behind.

In 2368, the USS Denver struck one of the mines, and required rescue by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Ethics")
