Born in Tarrytown, New York, Lemon first appeared to television audiences in a 1989 episode of thirtysomething, starring David Clennon. He subsequently made appearances on Married...with Children, Life Goes On (starring Bill Smitrovich and Ray Buktenica), Murder She Wrote (with Stephen Macht), The Practice (in an episode with Ron Glass), Melrose Place, Beverly Hills, 90210, and JAG (with Glenn Morshower).

He made his film debut with a small role in the 1990 action sequel Die Hard 2, which also featured William Sadler and Colm Meaney. The following year, he again appeared with William Sadler, as well as Glenn Morshower, Leon Russom, and Tim deZarn, in the TV movie Tagget. In 1993, he appeared in the film Hot Shots! Part Deux with Miguel Ferrer, Brenda Bakke and Mitchell Ryan. He appeared with Ryan again in the 1997 film Liar, Liar, along with Anne Haney, Eric Pierpoint and Chip Mayer.

Lemon has not acted in film or television since 1998, having become a project manager for Walt Disney Studios. In this capacity, he has worked on the animated films Atlantis: The Lost Empire (which featured the voice of Leonard Nimoy) and Chicken Little (with the voice of Patrick Stewart).
