Several holograms of Captain Benjamin Sisko were created over the years, such as by the senior staff of Deep Space 9 in 2370 and by Section 31 in 2374.
- The Deep Space 9 crew created a hologram of Sisko, as well as of Miles O'Brien and Li Nalas, to lure Colonel Day Kannu and his Bajoran Militia troops into a holosuite and trap them there. The hologram of Sisko and the others disappeared as the holosuite door closed. (DS9: "The Siege")
- Luther Sloan and Section 31 created a hologram of Captain Sisko as part of their holoprogram to test Julian Bashir to see if he could become a member of the organization. At the start of the program, the Sisko hologram spoke to "Deputy Director" Sloan of Internal Affairs. He then informed the senior staff of Starfleet Intelligence's belief that one of them was passing Federation secrets to the Dominion. "Sisko" later confronted Kagan and Chandler, who were taking Bashir to the security office. He objected to the use of manacles, but he was unable to do anything. Sisko later met with Bashir in the brig and told Sloan he would sit in on all of Sloan's future interrogations of Bashir.
During an interrogation, the Sisko hologram told Sloan his line of questioning about Bashir's attempts to cure Goran'Agar and his Jem'Hadar on Bopak III was irrelevant, as it predated the time Bashir was supposedly brainwashed in Internment Camp 371. Sloan later asked "Sisko" if he agreed with Bashir and the genetically-engineered patients findings that the Federation should surrender to the Dominion. Sisko admitted he did not. Afterward, in the brig, Sisko asked Bashir if it was possible he was a Dominion sleeper agent.
The hologram of Sisko later "pursued" a Dominion ship Bashir had been transported to by a hologram of Weyoun in the Defiant. After Bashir had been rescued by holograms of Kira Nerys and Worf, Sisko angrily told Bashir he had had enough lies and told Kira to get him off the bridge. Bashir realized something was wrong when O'Brien's shoulder showed no sign of stiffness from a recent injury. He then told Sisko he was not the real Sisko, as "he'd at least be willing to hear me out". The real Luther Sloan then ended the program and the hologram of Sisko disappeared. (DS9: "Inquisition")
