Beta Agni II was an M-Class planet. It had a Federation colony. The colony had a sudden tricyanate contamination of its water supply in 2366. The contamination was neutralized by the USS Enterprise-D, which had a supply of hytritium. The incident was later found out to be the work of Zibalian trader Kivas Fajo, as part of a scheme to capture the android Data. (TNG: "The Most Toys")
