Blue Skies was a song originally written and performed by Irving Berlin in 1927 that became a 20th century pop-standard.

In 2379, Lieutenant Commander Data sang Blue Skies at the wedding reception of Deanna and William Riker, dedicating it to the happy couple. The performance was enjoyed by all, except Worf, who was not a fan of Irving Berlin. Following the destruction of Data, his "brother" B-4, who had received all of Data's memories and files, inadvertently began to hum excerpts from Blue Skies. (Star Trek Nemesis)

As part of the "Totally Naked" season one blooper reel from Star Trek: The Next Generation, several of the song's lyrics appear in the end credits.

[edit] Lyrics

Never saw the sun, shining so bright,
Never saw things, going so right...
Noticing the days, hurrying by,
When you're in love, my how they fly, oh...
...Blue skies...
Smiling at me...nothing but
Blue skies...
Do I see...
