Boreck was a Starfleet officer serving on board the USS Voyager under Captain Kathryn Janeway, with the rank of Ensign.

In 2371, Boreck, along with the rest of Voyager's crew, were stranded in the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker. (VOY: "Caretaker")

In 2376, Boreck's name was read by Voyager's computer aloud during a malfunction. (VOY: "The Haunting of Deck Twelve")
