Brizeen nitrate is a substance that helps in fertilization of land.

Grand Nagus Zek offered Bajor, on the behalf of Kira Nerys, 50,000 kilos of brizeen nitrate, in exchange for allowing him to hold a trade conference on Deep Space 9 with the Dosi.
