Budweiser Classic was a brand of beer, a beverage served on Earth in an alternate timeline of the 23rd century.
In 2255, Cadet Nyota Uhura ordered three Budweiser Classics among other drinks at a bar in Iowa for her and friends. (Star Trek)
This is the fourth instance of product placement being used in a Star Trek production, the previous three being Michelob and Macintosh in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Nokia earlier in Star Trek.
Screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman suggested in a question-and-answer session with fans that the company Budweiser might have been nationalized by the 23rd century.[1]
