Capella (or Alpha Aurigae) is a multiple star (spectral classes G5, G0, M2 and M4) between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, at a distance of 46 light years from Sol. It is located in or near Federation space. (TNG: "Conspiracy")
Capella is the primary for planet Capella IV. (TOS: "Friday's Child")

Capella was mentioned as a small note on a very large star chart graphic created for "Conspiracy." It was the image behind the chair in the room where Dexter Remmick was killed.
It appears to be located within an outlined block, which may indicate that it was surrounded or was even a part of Federation territory at the time. It appears to be near Pyris VII.
