A cargo management unit is a type of extricator used aboard Federation starships during the 24th century.

In 2364, the USS Enterprise-D acquired a cargo management unit from Support Services on Relva VII in order to eliminate three older and bulkier units from the cargo bays. (TNG: "Coming of Age")
