Caryl Codon-Tharp is a hairdresser and makeup artist who worked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the Star Trek: Voyager pilot, "Caretaker".

Codon received Emmy Award nominations for her work on Deep Space Nine's "Improbable Cause" and "Trials and Tribble-ations" and the Voyager pilot, "Caretaker".

Her Hollywood career began in the mid-1970s, when she worked on Bad News Bears. By the mid-1980s, she was working on the "Charles in Charge" television series. That led to work on "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman", where she won an Emmy, and her encounter with the Star Trek franchise, which also included work on the Star Trek: Klingon video game, taking credit as an assistant hair stylist.
