Casey was a security officer serving in Starfleet on the USS Enterprise-D in 2367.

When the Enterprise was hijacked by Data in 2367, Casey accompanied William T. Riker and Worf while attempting to infiltrate the closed-off Bridge. (TNG: "Brothers")
