I'm just starting to create articles on the various Star Trek trading card sets. Creating Category:Trading cards would be a useful action to avoid placing 70+ articles in Category:Collectibles. The articles for the various companies that produced the cards would also be categorised here.

A possibility also exists to split the CCG articles from Category:Role-playing games into their own category of Category:Collectible card games (which would also include SkyBox's CCG game - another subject I plan to work on at some point in the future), since they don't really fit their current location, I feel. The articles can then be better sorted in the new category, instead of being stuck in 'C'.

Both of these categories would have a parent category in Collectibles, such as Category:Cards. The CCG category would also be a sub-category of Category:Games.

Suggested category tree:

  • Category:Collectibles
    • Category:Cards
      • Category:Trading cards
      • Category:Collectible card games
  • Category:Games
    • Category:Collectible card games
