Chief of staff

Chief of staff is a title given to a senior member of a service organization or agency. This individual is usually responsible for overseeing the various branches of the service.
In 2155, E.W. Roddenberry was Chief of Staff at Starfleet Command's Fleet Operations Center on Earth. ("Demons" artwork)
