Chris Sarandon (born 24 July 1942; age 65) played Martus Mazur in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Rivals". He has also appeared in many popular horror movies.
His first motion picture was in 1975's Dog Day Afternoon with Al Pacino, Robert Costanzo and Tom Towles. In 1985's Fright Night, he played the villainous vampire, Jerry Dandrige. In 1988 he appeared in Child's Play, with Catherine Hicks, Brad Dourif and John Franklin. He is probably best known as the egomaniacal Prince Humperdink in the film The Princess Bride where he hired fellow DS9 guest star Wallace Shawn to kidnap his prospective bride.
He voiced Jack Skellington in Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and Kurotowa in the 2005 English dubbed version of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (with Patrick Stewart, Edward James Olmos and Ike Eisenmann). In 1996, he starred in Tales from the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood with William Sadler. In 2005, he voiced Zebulon "Zeb" Kirk in The Chosen One along with DS9 guest star Debra Wilson.
Sarandon was married to Susan Sarandon from 1967 to 1979.
