A chronokinetic surge is a form of temporal anomaly produced by some spatial rifts.
In 2377, the USS Voyager was struck by a chronokinetic surge. When the surge interacted with Voyager's warp core, it split the starship into different time frames. Chakotay was also struck by the surge, sending his body into a temporal flux. (VOY: "Shattered")
