Cliff Welsh is a visual effects artist who is involved in the remastered Original series, which started in 2006. As part of the CBS Digital team, he played two extras in the new matte painting of Starbase 11 in the episode "The Menagerie, Part I". He is a Starfleet officer on the mall and a Starfleet extra in an office window.
Welsh's other credits include the catastrophe film Category 7: The End of the World (2005, alongside TOS Remastered artists Niel Wray and Nicki Kreitzman) and the superhero comedy My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006).
