Cochrane family

The Cochrane family was a notable family in the mid-22nd century that was descended from Doctor Zefram Cochrane.
In 2152, after the discovery of a small pod, Doctor Phlox submitted a request to Doctor Cochrane's family in order for them to release Cochrane's genetic profile. The family transmitted Cochrane's profile to Enterprise shortly thereafter. (ENT: "Future Tense")
It is possible that they lived near Alpha Centauri, which is where Cochrane is stated to be from in TOS: "Metamorphosis".
