Captain Conklin was a Starfleet officer in command of the USS Magellan during the mid-24th century. The Magellan put in at the Federation's Arkaria Base in the late-2360s. The starship's crew put on a talent show at the base, in which Captain Conklin performed a poetry reading. (TNG: "Starship Mine")
