The Conrad was a Class F shuttlecraft assigned to Starbase 6 during the 2270s.

In 2273, the Conrad was launching from the San Francisco air tram station just as Admiral James T. Kirk's air tram was arriving at the station. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)

Clips showing the original scene and modified scene which included the inclusion of this shuttle appeared in the bonus features of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (The Director's Edition). The name and origin of the shuttle itself were revealed by Daren Dochterman, visual effects supervisor for the Director's Edition.
