Construction module

A construction module is a utility used by the Federation that allows construction or implementation of various objects by mechanical means without the need of personnel near by.
When a garbage scow was caught in the gravitational forces of Gamelan V, Geordi La Forge developed the idea of using construction modules to place thrusters on the scow to remove it from orbit. (TNG: "Final Mission")
