Convoy liaison officer

Convoy liaison officer was the title given to a civilian who co-ordinated convoy movements with Starfleet during the Dominion War.

In late 2374, Kasidy Yates agreed to take the job as liaison officer aboard the USS Defiant for the PQ-1 convoy, as she knew many of the freighter captains involved with the mission. (DS9: "The Sound of Her Voice")
