The Coridan system is a star system located in Federation space, containing the Federation member planet Coridan.
In 2373, Kandra Vilk moved from Deep Space 9 to a neutral planet near the Coridan system because of the impending war with the Dominion. (DS9: "In the Cards")
The Coridan system was a target of Jem'Hadar raids during the Dominion War due to its importance as a source of dilithium, even though it was not on the front lines. (DS9: "One Little Ship")
