D'Kyr type support craft

The D'Kyr type support craft was a relatively large mid-22nd century auxiliary space vessel carried aboard Vulcan D'Kyr-type starships. The support craft was docked inside the engine hoop of its mother ship.

Designer John Eaves thought about the support craft as a kind of rescue vessel similar to a DSRV used by the US Navy.[1]
