David Loughery wrote the screenplay for Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. He also shared story credit with William Shatner and Harve Bennett.
Other films which Loughery has written for include 1984's Dreamscape (starring Christopher Plummer), 1990's Flashback (starring Paul Dooley, Cliff deYoung, and Michael McKean), 1992's Passenger 57 (starring Robert Hooks), and 1993's The Three Musketeers. His latest film is 1995's Tom and Huck, which featured Star Trek: Voyager guest actor Charles Rocket in the cast.
He is currently co-writing a film for director Neil LaBute entitled Lakeview Terrace. It is set for release in 2008.
