David Soul (born 28 August 1943; age 65) played Makora in the original series episode "The Apple". He is perhaps best known, however, for playing Detective Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson in the television series Starsky and Hutch. He also had a cameo in the film version of Starsky & Hutch starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in 2004.
After his appearance on Star Trek, he starred as the middle Bolt brother, Joshua, in the TV series Here Come the Brides along with other TOS guest stars Robert Brown and Mark Lenard. In addition, he recorded a #1 single called Don't Give Up On Us.
He was formerly married to Julia Nickson who guest-starred in both TNG and DS9.
