David Stipes (Starfleet)

David Stipes was a Starfleet officer and member of Starfleet Tactical in the 24th century.

He was among personnel who worked on tactical operations for the USS Voyager and the USS Valiant during the construction of both starships. As such, his name was placed on the dedication plaques for both starships. (Star Trek: Voyager set artwork; DS9: "Valiant" set artwork)

Stipes was also listed on a Voyager crew manifest, displayed on a computer screen in 2371. (VOY: "Projections" set artwork)

Named after production staff member David Stipes. It is unknown whether he was aboard Voyager when the ship was transported to the Delta Quadrant or whether he had been temporarily assigned to the ship during its construction.
