David Takemura (Doctor)

David Takemura was a Starfleet doctor. He was diagnosed with Iresine Syndrome in 2368. (TNG: "Violations")

While working for Starfleet Tactical, he was involved in the construction of the USS Defiant and the USS São Paulo. He also worked at Starfleet Shipyards Operations and was involved in the construction of the USS Enterprise-E. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine; Star Trek: First Contact)

Doctor Takemura was named after visual effects specialist David Takemura.
